{"product_id":"511-lost-quiver-killer","title":"5'11 Lost Quiver Killer","description":"\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e“A …Lost classic, digitally re-mastered.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThe Quiver Killer is one of our all time best selling and most loved models.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003ePopular around the world.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eIt was one of the original modern hybrid shapes, that worked in all types of conditions, from 2’ slop to 6’ tubes.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eAn early 5-fin adapted model, it can be adjusted with fins, for waves of all types and sizes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eA literal one board quiver, thus the name, Quiver Killer.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eIts forward outline and fairly wide nose lend plenty of forward momentum, both paddling and once you’re on your feet.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eDrive is not an issue here.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe generous width and continuous curve outline, with a modestly pulled in rounded pin tail, give both lift in smaller surf and speed control with precise turning and carving, with confidence in better waves.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe nose rocker is moderate, pairing well with the width up front and it initiates into turns with forward momentum.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThe tail rocker is lower.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eIt’s fast and drive-y, featuring a clean concave and enough curve in the rail rocker to turn well under the rear foot without stiffness.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThis little board proved itself again and again, with its ability to perform in all conditions, under the feet of local and traveling surfers around the world.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eWe had not adjusted the design in years, simply re-sizing for custom orders as retailers slowly stopped stocking them, in lieu of newer models.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eWith the constant updating and releasing of new models, the Quiver Killer somehow got lost in the mix.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eRelegated to custom orders and a few smart shops who still stocked them, we feel the time has come to bring back some of our best models from the past and give them a subtle make-over.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eConsidering the new builds and techs we’ve been working with the last 5 years, it makes perfect sense to finally offer some of our classics like the Quiver Killer, in the new, modern materials and ride characteristics.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eNot a full re-design, nor a major up-date, that would require a new name and lots of RnD, but a smooth and simple “Digital Re-Master”, to the older CAD files, which could use a bit of cleaning up.
